Gunold’s trade fair participation with many visitors and great response
“Full House” on all three days of the trade show at this year’s TecStyle Vision in Stuttgart and promising talks at the booth allow GUNOLD to look ahead optimistically. The proximity to the TecCheckArea also contributed to the great success. Here, following the slogan “Pimp your Logo”, the trade show visitors received inspiration on how company logos can be transformed with threads and effect fabrics from GUNOLD in a smart, modern, appealing and thus, anything but a boring way, without violating the corporate identity. That was quite exciting!
Experts led by Reiner Knochel for GUNOLD showed how an embroidered logo can contribute to the exclusive eye-catcher of a unique corporate or brand image through technique and material: From the design, to the digitized embroidery program, to the embroidery on a shirt. “Mission accomplished” is how Stephan Gunold, Head of Marketing at GUNOLD, sums up the TecStyle vision with great satisfaction. Indeed, GUNOLD was also able to welcome many visitors at its own and newly designed booth, among them long-standing and well-known customers, but also many completely new faces. The sigh of relief after a long three-year pandemic break was palpable! “Everyone finally wanted to find out about the new, but also proven products in person again and wanted to be inspired,” says Stephan Gunold. The eye-catching booth design and spacious presentation of the comprehensive product range on a total booth area of 64 sqm were very well received.
While first-time visitors were primarily interested in the basics and wanted to know what is needed for their embroidery machine, which was either recently delivered or will be delivered after the fair, the greatest interest was shown in the new products Filmoplast Strong, Cotty Bio, KK Film and the special threads such as the metallic effect threads, Mety, Poly Sparkle, Glitter, the luminescent threads such as CRY and Glowy as well as the corresponding embroidery needles. What can be achieved with fancy threads was impressively demonstrated in the TecCheckArea directly opposite. The results put a “wow” on the lips of many a visitor.
As is always the case, the samples of all embroidery nonwovens, foils and effect fabrics, which were available on roll racks for cutting off and taking away/testing, were again very welcome this year. Stephan Gunold: “Seeing, feeling and taking away the products has proven to be very successful, it opens doors and encourages visitors to have a hands-on experience with our products. We were able to answer many questions about their applications. The great interest we received was really impressive”.
For GUNOLD at the TecCheckArea was Reiner Knochel, Textile Experience, and summarizes the three days as follows: “In addition to GUNOLD, the Fashion School Sigmaringen for the design by means of a graphics software and the companies ConStitch (punching), ZSK (embroidery machine), Walz Solutions (organization) and Daiber (promotion wear) were part of the presentation. The interest in bringing more variety to logo embroidery was huge. We wanted to show that logos don’t always have to be implemented in a classic way, but that there is a lot more that can be done, and without violating the corporate identity. Modernly interpreted, backed with effect fabric, embroidered with effect thread, embroidered in different kinds of stitches. Countless variations and imaginable creations are possible. Of course, the logo itself also plays a major role, to the extent that this allows for creativity. Overall, the motto we proposed hit the mark.”
GUNOLD – once again leading the way Thus, “Pimp your Logo” was the motto of the TecCheckArea and was directly demonstrated by GUNOLD. The entire GUNOLD trade fair team showed up in individual outfits and different GUNOLD logo styles. In the run-up to the event, each member of the trade fair team was able to put together his or her desired trade fair outfit from the Daiber collection and customize it with the company logo. “We were thrilled with the result. Everyone felt super comfortable, everyone wore what they liked and yet we presented ourselves to the visitors in a uniform appearance. It doesn’t get any better than this!” says Stephan Gunold. The next TecStyle Visions will now take place in two years from February 13 to 15, 2025 and GUNOLD will quite certainly participate again! www.gunold.de
