Adhesive Sprays …
The use of adhesive sprays is one of the most important aids when embroidering e.g. tops, appliqués, emblems and patches. The adhesive properties are still the decisive criterion. The adhesive strength should last for a day, but the glued part should still be easy to remove at any time. In addition, the embroidery needles must not become sticky during use. The KK 100 spray adhesive from Gunold combines all of this. It secures stretchy fabrics and knitwear and prevents distortion during the embroidery process. KK 100 is also ideal for attaching appliqués and small cuttings such as trouser pockets and collars for further processing. Delicate parts can be positioned easily for the embroidery process. Smooth fabrics are prevented from slipping by fixing with KK 100. For optimum results, the spray can should be stored at room temperature for at least one day before use and the adhesive should be allowed to dry for 30 seconds before bonding. It goes without saying that KK 100 is non-toxic and virtually odorless, although it is flammable.
Special scissors /Tool Kits …
Whether curved and wide, curved and narrow, curved and long or straight, the special scissors range from Gunold offers an ideal tool for every embroidery application. They can be used to trim appliqués or cut embroidery backings. Thanks to practical tweezer technology, the handy Snipper cuts the threads and fringes close to the fabric surface and is therefore ideal for a particularly neat seam finish. To ensure that no more scissors are lost around your embroidery machine, Gunold offers two practical tool kits: Tool Kit 1 is a practical repair and work tool set containing small scissors, a snipper, a seam ripper, a screwdriver and tweezers. The black case fits in any pocket and is also ideal for use on the go.
Tool Kit 2 is ideal to remove thread snarls in the hook. The case with a zipper contains a very sharp surgeon’s knife on a long, narrow shaft and a thread hook.
Oil Pen, Filaine Brush, Tweezer …
Every embroidery machine needs to be oiled regularly. However, the spouts of the bottles are often too large. The fine pipette of the Oil Pen from Gunold applies the machine oil to the right places. With Oil Refill, the Oil Pen can be refilled in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way.
Filaine Brush is the name of the small wire brush for roughening embroidery created with Filaine and Cotty 12. For a fluffy embroidery, the areas of the motif that you want to be furry are brushed by hand. The result is a fur-like structure.
Long, red and with an angled tip, the Gunold tweezers are ideal for precision work in hard-to-reach areas. Helpful for thread ends, dirt particles, etc.
Air Duster/ Air Duster Power …
Whether thread lint or dust on hooks, needle bars or thread cutters, with Air Duster (compressed air) or Air Duster Power (high pressure) everything is cleaned very quickly. Both spray cans help to blow away even dirt easily and conveniently. For very hard-to-reach areas, we also recommend attaching the aiming straw (capillary tube) to the spray head. With Air Duster and Air Duster-Power, dust, thread lint and other dirt particles disappear in no time at all.
